Meet Robin
Credentials and Background
Whether as author, coach, through journaling courses or retreats, Robin passionately assists others in honoring, listening inside and following their heart and dreams, as a way to live and make life choices to create a uniquely harmonious and authentic lifestyle that brings peace, wellness, fulfillment and joy.
Certified Health & Wellness Coach (CHWC) utilizing the Real Balance Wellness Mapping 360°™ methodology.
Robin brings a rich background to her services:
As an artist, Robin finds her creativity and sensitivity delight in expressing themselves through writing, painting large and with her body, creating ceremonies and constantly inventing creative and self-nurturing personal growth exercises.
As producer of LifeWorks Videos and documentaries she offers an experience of being honored deeply through the way she listens to and invites people’s stories which are captured on video, Robin lets her intellect, sense of aesthetics, emotional sensitivity and intuition weave a video memoir that reflects back to her clients the important and beautiful themes, stories, words, lessons and wisdom she sees.
Having struggled with many food sensitivities since her twenties, Robin has gained much knowledge and experience in the realm of nutrition. A natural cook, she has skill and intuition for creating recipes which include adaptations for various food restrictions. She has specialized in vegetarian cuisine as a professional cook (including a stint as the vegetarian Middle Eastern Chef for the Princes of Dubai) and is a joyous teacher of Authentic Indian Cuisine and compassionate Food Mentor for people struggling with all aspects of caring for their dietary needs.
In the 90’s Robin was ready to heed the call to live a simple life based on her values of love for nature and care for Earth. She found that living in a materialistic, consumeristic, money-driven culture, made her journey a lonely, scary one, so she founded the Voluntary Simplicity Support Group, in her city, which thrived for eight and a half years. Robin still enjoys a simple lifestyle, in accordance with her values. Between her personal experience, coaching and creative skills, no matter where you are in the spectrum of consciousness and readiness, Robin can help you work with and towards manifesting your unique balanced, sustainable life, living in congruence and integrity with your highest values.
Woman Within® International: This organization offers programs and opportunities for women to discover the power and beauty that resides within them, the mission being to empower women. For four years, Robin participated in this program as well as served on the board in her region. It is through Woman Within that Robin gained deepest respect for the power and ability of a group to support a woman in finding her own wisdom and truth.

Passionate about Education
Robin’s passion for education and meaningful, thematic, question-based learning ignited in years with alternative education in High School. In “The Community" she learned about learning and thrived on being given responsibility for her own education. It is this experience that led Robin to believe the world is her classroom, and allows her to live by it. Studied at/with: The University of Kentucky, where she graduated Magna Cum Laude in 1999 with a self-designed degree in Integrated Strategic Communications, with an emphasis on the visual aspect of creative. After several years as a Graphic Designer at a small publishing company, Robin became Creative Director, Editor and finally General Manager of Sales and Marketing for a regional magazine called Health & Wellness. Evergreen State College, Olympia, WA, where she engaged in Thematic learning her focus being “Science and Humanism” with a personal emphasis on the History and Evolution of Modern Medicine. The Wise Woman Center, Susun Weed - In The Spirit and Practice of the Wise Woman Tradition. For two years, Robin studied the model of the Three Traditions of Healing, (Scientific, Heroic, and Wise Woman) and the Six Steps of Healing to become and help others be informed consumers of health care, and to repossess the power of our health/wholeness/holiness in a new (yet ancient) and functional manner. Robin loves these words of Susun’s: "These are the ways of our grandmothers, the ancient ones. Every pain, every plant, every problem is cherished. Night is loved for darkness, day for light. Uniqueness is our treasure, not normalcy.” Robin has been practicing plant medicine for years. Harvesting and eating wild plants and making medicine with them is an example of one of Robin’s values that form part of her Living Simply lifestyle. A Natural Teacher People are always stopping Robin on the street and asking her if she’s a teacher. Really. Robin frequently finds herself in teaching moments. She loves the invitation to share what she knows, and crafts explanations using her natural sensitivity to individuals’ differing learning processes. In 1982 she was certified as a Teacher of English as a Foreign Language for Adults at the International Teacher Training Institute Sussex, England Robin is an experienced teacher of Authentic Indian Cuisine. |
